1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
The Door Fixer LLC (“The Door Fixer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Texas limited liability company that provides door supply, installation, and repair services to residential and commercial customers in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website at www.thedoorfixertx.com (the “Site”), request an estimate, book a service, communicate with us by phone, email, or text message, or otherwise interact with our business (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Site or our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or provide us with your personal information. This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated by reference.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: directly from you, automatically when you use the Site, and from third parties.
2.1 Information You Provide to Us
When you request a quote, schedule service, create an account, sign up for communications, or contact us, you may provide:
Contact information — your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number(s).
Service information — the service address, property type, a description of the door(s) or problem, photos or videos you upload, access instructions, and scheduling preferences.
Payment information — billing address and payment card or bank details. Card and bank data are collected and processed by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.
Communications — the content of emails, text messages, voicemails, web chat sessions, form submissions, and reviews or testimonials you send to us.
Business information — if you are a property manager, general contractor, or commercial customer, your company name, title, and business contact details.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, approximate geographic location derived from your IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, referring website, the pages you view and links you click, the date and time of your visit, and similar usage data. We collect this information using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies as described in Section 6.
If you call our business phone number, we may use call-tracking technology that records the number you called from, the date, time, and duration of the call, and the marketing source of the call. Calls may be recorded or transcribed for quality, training, and record-keeping purposes; where required by law, you will be notified at the start of the call.
2.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from lead-referral platforms and marketplaces, online directories, review sites, property managers or general contractors who engage us on your behalf, advertising and analytics partners, and publicly available sources. We may combine this information with information we collect directly from you.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To provide our Services — preparing estimates, scheduling and performing door installation and repair work, ordering materials, dispatching technicians, and processing payments.
To communicate with you — sending appointment confirmations and reminders, arrival notifications, estimates, invoices, receipts, warranty information, and responses to your inquiries.
For marketing — with your consent where required by law, sending promotional emails, text messages, seasonal offers, and follow-up communications about our Services. You can opt out at any time as described in Section 7.
To improve our business — analyzing how the Site and Services are used, measuring the effectiveness of our advertising, developing new services, and training our staff.
To protect our business and others — verifying identity, preventing fraud, enforcing our Terms and Conditions, collecting amounts owed, resolving disputes, and complying with applicable law, subpoenas, court orders, and lawful requests from public authorities.
For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or to which you otherwise consent.
4. Text Messages and Phone Calls
By providing your mobile number to us, you agree that we may send you text messages and call you regarding your estimate, appointment, and service—including confirmations, reminders, technician updates, estimates, invoices, and follow-up about the work we performed. With your consent, we may also send occasional promotional messages; consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. You may stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message or by contacting us at info@thedoorfixertx.com or 817-928-0576. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
Service providers. We use trusted third-party vendors to operate our business, including customer relationship management (CRM) and scheduling platforms, email and SMS delivery services, web hosting, payment processors, accounting and invoicing software, call-tracking and telephony providers, analytics and advertising platforms, and cloud storage. These providers may access personal information only to perform services for us and are required to protect it.
Technicians and subcontractors. We may share your name, service address, phone number, job details, and access instructions with the technician or licensed and insured subcontractor assigned to perform your work.
Suppliers and manufacturers. When a door, hardware, or component is special-ordered or is subject to a manufacturer’s warranty, we may share the information necessary to place the order or register or process a warranty claim.
Property managers, landlords, and general contractors. If a third party engaged us to perform work at your property, we may share job status, invoices, photos of the work, and related information with that party.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; to enforce our agreements or protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others; to pursue collection of unpaid amounts, including through the filing of mechanic’s liens as permitted under Chapter 53 of the Texas Property Code; or to detect and prevent fraud.
Business transfers. If The Door Fixer is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, and similar technologies on the Site to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and measure and improve our advertising.
Essential cookies are required for the Site to function (for example, to submit a form or maintain security).
Analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, help us understand traffic and usage patterns. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out through the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising cookies and pixels, such as those used by Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and similar platforms, allow us to show you relevant ads on other websites and to measure ad performance (including conversion tracking and remarketing). You may adjust your ad preferences directly with those platforms, through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info, or through the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org.
Browser controls. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site functions.
Because there is no industry standard for responding to “Do Not Track” signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. We do honor opt-out preference signals where required by applicable law.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Email marketing. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email or by contacting us. We will continue to send transactional emails related to your service.
Text messages. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, as described in Section 4.
Phone calls. You may ask us not to call you for marketing purposes by contacting us at info@thedoorfixertx.com or 817-928-0576.
Access, correction, and deletion. You may request that we provide you with a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, or delete your information. We will honor such requests where required by law, subject to our need to retain certain information for legal, accounting, warranty, and dispute-resolution purposes. To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide our Services, honor warranty obligations, maintain business and tax records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Job and invoice records are generally retained for at least four (4) years after the completion of work, consistent with Texas limitations periods for contract claims, and longer where required by law or where a warranty remains in effect. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These include access controls, encrypted transmission of Site data (HTTPS), reputable third-party platforms with their own security programs, and the use of PCI-compliant payment processors. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a breach of system security involving your sensitive personal information, we will notify you as required by Chapter 521 of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and any other applicable law.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site and our Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, review platforms, social media pages, financing providers, or manufacturer sites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
12. Texas and Other State Privacy Rights
Texas. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 541) provides certain rights to Texas residents with respect to businesses that meet the statute’s applicability thresholds. As a small business as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, The Door Fixer may be exempt from most provisions of that Act; regardless, we will not sell your sensitive personal data without your prior consent, and we will respond in good faith to the requests described in Section 7.
Other states. If you reside in a state that has enacted a comprehensive consumer privacy law (such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or others), you may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information and the right to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any such right, contact us using the information in Section 14. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and post the updated Policy on the Site. If the changes are material, we may also notify you by email or text message. Your continued use of the Site or Services after the updated Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
